We actively monitor and support your websites to maximise availability, help protect them against cyber attacks, and respond quickly to security incidents. Website files, databases, and email are backed up every hour to support rapid recovery after data loss or disruption.
Hosting is only useful when the website on it remains fast, available, secure, and recoverable. Fusion manages the practical work around the service, from initial configuration and migration to monitoring, maintenance, and technical response.
You do not have to separate a website problem from a hosting problem before asking for help. We investigate the service as a whole and take the appropriate action.
What we manage
The routine technical work is included.
Configuration
Hosting setup, domain and DNS coordination, SSL certificates, redirects, and application configuration.
Maintenance
Supported software versions, security updates, performance checks, and planned technical changes.
Monitoring
Platform monitoring, availability checks, and investigation when the website does not behave as expected.
Recovery
Backup restoration, incident response, and coordination of the work needed to return the website to service.
Availability and performance
Built to remain responsive under normal demand.
Sites run on managed cloud infrastructure in the region selected for the service, with fast solid-state storage, account-level resource controls, modern HTTP support, and application-aware caching. We review the website as well as the hosting when performance changes.
Where a website or network needs more capacity, resources can be adjusted or the service can be moved to a more suitable configuration.
Hosting regions and global delivery
Regional hosting with an international reach.
We offer hosting in the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and the United States. We select the hosting region according to the website’s audience, performance needs, and data-protection requirements.
For websites with an international audience, we can use a content delivery network to deliver suitable content closer to visitors. This can improve speed, availability, and reliability, particularly in regions with slower or less reliable international connections.
Server location is only one part of data protection. We also consider where personal data is processed, who can access it, which service providers are involved, and which international-transfer safeguards apply.
Security and incident response
Layered protection, followed by practical action.
Each hosting account is isolated. Web application firewall protection, denial-of-service protection, SSL certificates, server security updates, and controls against automated abuse form the platform security layer.
No hosting service can remove every risk. If suspicious activity or a compromise is detected, we investigate, contain the problem, recover affected data where possible, and apply the appropriate repair.
Hourly backups and recovery
A new recovery point every hour.
Website files, databases, and hosted email are backed up every hour. Backups can be restored at file, folder, or database level. The platform also maintains separate hourly data replication for wider disaster recovery.
60 minutes between scheduled backup points.

Server location and GDPR
Location can support your compliance work.
Server location does not determine GDPR compliance by itself. However, choosing an appropriate hosting region can support your organisation’s compliance requirements and simplify how international data transfers are managed.
For UK customers, hosting personal data in the UK or European Economic Area is usually the simplest arrangement. The UK recognises EEA countries as adequate destinations. Transfers from the EEA to the UK are also covered by the European Union’s UK adequacy decision.
Hosting in the United States can also be lawful. It needs a valid transfer basis. This can be the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework when the US recipient is certified. Otherwise, the arrangement usually needs an International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum and a transfer risk assessment.
This is general information about hosting and data location. It is not legal advice.
Support, access and ownership
Your website remains yours.
You retain ownership of your domain, website content, and customer data. We provide suitable administrative or developer access where it is needed and safe for the service.
If you move away from Fusion, we provide an agreed handover of the website and its data. Some managed configuration, monitoring, and licensed services form part of the Fusion service and do not transfer automatically.
One site or many
A consistent service across your website network.
Fusion hosts individual websites and larger networks with separate sites, domains, teams, and technical requirements. Accounts can remain isolated while maintenance, monitoring, and support follow one consistent operating approach.
We match each site to the resources and controls it needs rather than forcing every website into the same configuration.
